NTA enables online scribe submission facility for PwD and PwBD aspirants

CUET UG 2026 scribe details:The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a public notice announcing the opening of an online window for PwD and PwBD candidates of CUET UG 2026 to submit details of scribes. The facility is intended for candidates who opted to arrange their own scribe during the registration process.CUET UG 2026 will be conducted across multiple centres in India and abroad between May 11 and May 31, 2026 in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The scribe-related update is aimed at ensuring procedural completion for eligible candidates ahead of the examination.Online window opened for scribe submissionAs per the notice dated April 30, 2026, the NTA has activated an online facility for submission of scribe details from April 30, 2026 to May 5, 2026, up to 11:50 PM. Candidates who opted for their own scribe are required to complete the process within the stipulated timeline.PwD and PwBD candidates were given the option during registration to choose their own scribe and provide related details. The current window has been specifically opened for those who selected this option and are required to finalise their scribe information.Process for registering scribe detailsCandidates must log in to the official examination portal using their application number and password. After accessing the candidate homepage, they are required to click on the “Register Scribe Details” option, which will be visible only to eligible applicants.The system allows candidates to select the scribe option and enter relevant details. Once submitted, the information will be reflected in the application form and confirmation page under the “View Application Form” section.Examination schedule and instructionsCUET UG 2026 is scheduled to be conducted in CBT mode across designated centres in India and outside the country. Candidates have been advised to complete all formalities within the given deadlines to avoid last-minute issues.The NTA has also urged candidates to regularly visit the official CUET website for updates related to the examination process. For assistance, candidates may contact the helpline or email support provided by the agency.
