CBSE extends deadline for obtaining Class 12 scanned answer sheets

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the last date for students to apply for scanned copies of evaluated answer books for the Class 12 Board examinations 2026.According to an official circular issued by the board, the deadline has been extended from May 22, 2026, to May 23, 2026. The decision was taken after students faced technical problems on the CBSE post-verification portal. The board said the extension has been provided to ensure that students get sufficient time to complete the application process.

CBSE issues notice after students report portal issues

Earlier today, on May 19 itself, several students took to social media seeking clarification about the activation of the answer sheet access portal. Many students reported that the link provided on the official website was either unavailable or showing a “service unavailable” message. Some students also expressed confusion regarding the difference between obtaining scanned copies of answer sheets and applying for re-evaluation.CBSE has now acknowledged the technical issue and issued a fresh notice extending the application deadline.Read the official notice here.

Revised schedule for scanned copies of answer books
