Tamil Nadu SSLC result 2026: The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, has declared the TN SSLC Result 2026 today through the official website, tnresults.nic.in. Students who appeared for the Class 10 public examinations can now access their provisional marksheets online using their registration number and date of birth. The result link was activated at 9:30 am for candidates across the state.This year, Tamil Nadu recorded an overall pass percentage of 94.31 per cent in the SSLC examinations. The latest result marks a slight increase of 0.15 percentage points compared to last year’s overall performance. Around 8.71 lakh students had appeared for the Class 10 board examinations conducted from March 11 to April 6 by the Directorate of Government Examinations.Girls record higher pass percentage than boysGirls outperformed boys in the TN SSLC examinations this year. According to the official data released by the board, female students secured a pass percentage of 96.47 per cent, while boys recorded 92.15 per cent.The performance gap between boys and girls remained visible in the overall results announced today. Students can now download their subject-wise marks and qualifying status through the official portals and digital platforms including DigiLocker.Pudukottai emerges as top-performing districtAmong all districts, Pudukottai secured the highest pass percentage in the Tamil Nadu SSLC Result 2026. The district recorded an overall success rate of 97.5 per cent in the Class 10 examinations this year.The state also witnessed strong performances at the school level. A total of 5,171 schools achieved a 100 per cent pass result in the SSLC examinations. The board released the district and school-wise statistics along with the declaration of results this morning.Students can access marks through multiple platformsApart from tnresults.nic.in, students can also check their provisional scorecards through dge.tn.gov.in, dge1.tn.nic.in and dge2.tn.nic.in. The Directorate of Government Examinations arranged multiple websites to help students avoid delays caused by heavy traffic during result hours.Candidates can also access digital marksheets through DigiLocker and UMANG by signing in with registered mobile numbers or Aadhaar-linked accounts. Students facing internet connectivity issues have the option to receive their results through SMS by sending TNBOARD10 followed by date of birth and registration number to 9282232585.Provisional marksheets available onlineThe online scorecards released today are provisional in nature. Students will have to collect their original marksheets and certificates from their respective schools after completion of the official distribution process.The provisional marksheet contains important details including student name, registration number, date of birth, school name, subject-wise marks, total score and pass status. Candidates have been advised to verify all details carefully after downloading the result online.
