HTET 2026 exam date: The Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH), Bhiwani, has announced that the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2025 will be conducted on June 13 and 14, 2026. The examination will be organised on Saturday and Sunday across the state for candidates seeking eligibility for government teaching posts in Haryana.Board chairman Dr Pawan Kumar said the Haryana government has granted permission for conducting the examination. More than 2.5 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the test, which will be conducted through a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) agency for the first time. The board has stated that the revised examination arrangement has been introduced to improve transparency and strengthen the overall management process.HTET examination schedule releasedAccording to the schedule released by BSEH, the Level-III PGT examination will be conducted on June 13, 2026, from 3 pm to 5.30 pm. The Level-II TGT examination will take place on June 14, 2026, from 10 am to 12.30 pm.The Level-I PRT examination is scheduled for June 14, 2026, from 3 pm to 5.30 pm. The board said the Information Bulletin related to the examination will soon be uploaded on the official website.

The HTET December 2025 notification was earlier released on December 24, 2025. Online applications for the examination were invited from December 24, 2025, to January 5, 2026.Security measures planned for examination centresThe board has announced additional security arrangements for the examination process. According to Dr Pawan Kumar, QR codes, alpha-numeric markings and hidden security features will be used on question papers to improve monitoring and traceability.Board officials stated that if any question paper is leaked from an examination centre, the headquarters team will be able to identify its source immediately through the security system. High-security cameras and jammers will also be installed at all examination centres.Eligibility criteria for HTET levelsThe Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test is mandatory for candidates applying for government teaching posts in the state. The examination is conducted in three levels, including Primary Teacher (PRT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT).Candidates applying for Level-I PRT posts must have passed Class 12 along with a Diploma in Education (D.Ed.). Applicants for Level-II TGT posts must hold a graduation degree with B.Ed. qualification, while Level-III PGT candidates are required to possess a postgraduate degree with B.Ed. qualification.The board has stated that there is no age limit for candidates applying for the HTET examination.
