AP Inter 1st and 2nd year result 2026: The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) has officially declared the AP Intermediate Public Examination (IPE) March 2026 results today, April 15, at 10:31 AM. The announcement, made through a press briefing. The pass percentage of this year stands at 77% for the first year and 77% for the second year.over 10.57 lakh students appearing across both levels. Around 5.31 lakh students took the first-year examination, while more than 5.26 lakh candidates appeared for the second-year papers. The exams were conducted between February 23 and March 24, 2026.The gender-wise pass percentage for AP Intermediate 2026 reflects a consistent trend of girls outperforming boys across both general and vocational streams. In the general stream, girls recorded a pass percentage of 81% in the first year and 85% in the second year in 2026, compared to 75% and 86% respectively in 2025. Boys, on the other hand, secured 72% in the first year and 76% in the second year in 2026, showing improvement from 66% and 80% in 2025. In the vocational stream, girls achieved 71% in the first year and 83% in the second year in 2026, closely aligned with 71% and 84% in 2025. Boys in the vocational stream recorded 49% in the first year and 62% in the second year in 2026, compared to 50% and 67% in the previous year.District-wise performance highlights Krishna as the top-performing district in both years. In the first year, Krishna reported 22,403 students appearing, of whom 20,142 passed, achieving a pass percentage of 90%. It was followed by Guntur with 33,643 students appearing and 29,530 passing (88%), and Visakhapatnam with 37,891 appearing and 32,334 passing (85%). In the second year, Krishna again led with 21,669 students appearing and 19,952 passing, recording a pass percentage of 92%. Guntur followed with 30,551 students appearing and 26,856 passing (88%), while NTR district secured the third position with 36,151 students appearing and 31,453 passing, resulting in an 87% pass percentage.

AP Inter 1st and 2nd year result: Previous year statistics

In 2025, in the first-year examination, 50,314 students appeared, out of which 23,799 cleared the exam, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 47 per cent. In contrast, the second-year results were stronger, with 27,276 students passing out of 39,783 candidates, pushing the pass percentage to 69 per cent. Girls outperformed boys in both years, recording 55 per cent against 39 per cent in the first year, and 74 per cent compared to 62 per cent in the second year.

AP Inter result 2026: Alternative ways to access scorecards

To ease pressure on official servers, multiple alternative channels have been enabled. Students can access their marks memo through DigiLocker at digilocker.gov.in, by logging in with registered credentials and retrieving documents under the education section. Additionally, results can be obtained via SMS by sending the hall ticket number to the board’s designated number. A WhatsApp-based service under the Mana Mitra system is also active, where students can send a “Hi” message to 9552300009 and follow prompts to receive their results directly on mobile devices.
