The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations declared the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) results for 2026 on Thursday, ending the wait for lakhs of students across the country. The results showed strong academic performance once again, with pass percentages staying above 99 per cent in both exams.Anushka Ghosh who topped Class 12 with 100% marks had also scored 498 out of 500 in Class 10, where she lost two marks in English, and pushed herself to aim higher this time.Speaking with news agency ANI, she said, “ Today, when I saw my results, I got 400 out of 400 and 100 out of 100 in English, which made me very happy. My mother taught me as a child, and school was my second home. Everyone there was supportive and accessible. Everyone there always helped. I am currently preparing to study engineering,” she said.Meanwhile, the overall results reflected a consistent trend across regions and schools. In the ISC (Class 12) exam, the overall pass percentage stood at 99.13 per cent. Girls recorded 99.48 per cent, while boys secured 98.81 per cent.The ICSE (Class 10) results followed a similar pattern. The overall pass percentage was 99.18 per cent. Girls achieved 99.46 per cent, and boys recorded 98.93 per cent, with girls doing better than boys in both exams.
