GSEB SSC result 2026: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has declared the Class 10 SSC Result 2026, recording an overall pass percentage of 83.86%, an increase from 83.08% in 2025. The exams were conducted across 1,006 centres, up from 989 last year, reflecting an expanded examination network.A total of 7,56,392 students appeared for the SSC examination in 2026, compared to 7,46,892 in 2025. Out of these, 6,34,327 students passed, marking a clear rise from last year’s 6,20,532 successful candidates.The pass percentage for girls stands at 88.28%, significantly higher than the 80.12% recorded by boys. Among repeat candidates, girls continued to lead with a pass percentage of 38.36%, compared to 31.41% for boys. In the GSOS category as well, female candidates recorded 36.25%, outperforming male candidates who stood at 23.23%.The trend confirms a consistent pattern in Gujarat Board results, where girls have maintained a strong lead across categories. The gap in performance underscores a steady academic advantage among female students, even as overall results show gradual improvement across the state.

In the 2025 Gujarat Board Class 10 results, girls clearly outperformed boys, continuing a consistent trend. The pass percentage for girls stood at 87.24%, while boys recorded 79.56%, marking a gap of 7.69 percentage points in favour of female students.The data highlighted a strong academic edge among girls in regular candidates, even as the overall pass percentage remained above 83%. The gap underlined a sustained pattern where girls have been outperforming boys across the state.

GSEB SSC result 2024: What does the data say?

In the Gujarat Board Class 10 SSC Result 2024, girls once again outperformed boys by a clear margin, continuing the trend seen in previous years. The pass percentage for girls stood at 86.69%, while boys recorded 79.12%, creating a gap of 7.57 percentage points in favour of female students.The data highlighted a consistent academic advantage among girls, even as the overall pass percentage reached 82.56%, marking a sharp recovery from 2023. The gender gap remained a key feature of the results, underlining stronger performance by girls across the state.Taken together, the data from 2024, 2025, and now 2026 paints a clear and consistent picture, girls have maintained a strong and widening lead over boys in the Gujarat Board Class 10 results. While overall pass percentages have stabilised and improved, the gender gap remains a defining feature of the outcome. As the state moves forward, the focus is likely to shift towards addressing this imbalance, even as the broader performance trend signals steady academic progress across Gujarat.
