What is the reservation matrix?
The University of Mumbai is currently working on a quota system that follows the rules laid down by the Government:
- Scheduled Castes: 13%
- Scheduled Tribes: 7%
- Other Backward Classes: 19%
- Economically Weaker Sections: 10%
- Socially & Educational Backward Classes: 10%
There are some more quotas for Nomadic Tribes (NT) and Denotified Tribes (DT).
