Delhi University opens PG admissions portal with DigiLocker integration and CUET-PG based seat allocation

Delhi University PG admissions 2026: Delhi University has started the admission process for postgraduate courses for the 2026-27 academic session. The university activated the Common Seat Allocation System for Postgraduates (CSAS-PG) portal on May 16, 2026, for students seeking admission to two-year Master’s programmes across departments and affiliated colleges. Candidates can complete the registration process online through the official portal, pgadmission.uod.ac.in, until June 7, 2026, at 11:59 PM.The university administration has introduced several technology-based measures in this admission cycle to streamline applications and reduce manual verification. Admission to postgraduate programmes this year will be conducted entirely on the basis of CUET-PG 2026 scores. Applicants have been instructed to ensure they appeared for the correct CUET-PG paper code linked to their chosen postgraduate subject.DigiLocker integration introduced for admissionsDelhi University has integrated its admission portal with DigiLocker and API Setu as part of a new automated verification system. Through this arrangement, applicants will not be required to manually upload documents such as mark sheets, date of birth certificates, parents’ details or CUET-PG scorecards during registration. The portal will directly retrieve verified records from DigiLocker, reducing the possibility of incorrect entries and submission of unauthorised documents. The university stated that the move forms part of wider efforts to make the admission process more transparent and digitally managed.One-year and two-year Master’s programmes offeredIn line with the National Education Policy 2020, Delhi University will offer both one-year and two-year postgraduate programmes from this academic session.Students currently pursuing the third or fourth year of undergraduate studies will be eligible to apply for the two-year Master’s courses. Candidates who have completed a four-year undergraduate Honours degree with Research or Entrepreneurship specialisation will qualify for the one-year Master’s programme. The university said admissions for the one-year courses will begin later through a separate portal.Application fee and late entry provisionThe application fee has been fixed at Rs 250 per programme for candidates belonging to UR, OBC-NCL and EWS categories. Applicants from SC, ST and PwBD categories will be required to pay Rs 100 per programme.Delhi University has also announced a mid-entry facility for students who fail to apply before the June 7 deadline.
