PUNE: The CEO Academy of Industrial Leadership was inaugurated at Kohinoor World Tower in Pimpri-Chinchwad.“The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) plays an important role in taking an industrial company to greater heights. Just as soldiers fight every crisis to protect the country, a CEO faces every challenge in the industry,” said Gen. Singh during the inauguration ceremony.On the occasion, Maj. Gen. (Dr.) Ajay Pal Singh, Dr. Mahesh S., Prof. Ripu Sinha, Dr. Rajput, Dr. Eknath Khedkar, founders of CEO Academy Dr. Kuldip Charak and Dr. Hemant Jadhav, directors, and several guests from industry, academia, and the media were present.The initiative is being regarded as a significant and visionary step toward building the next generation of CEOs, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and world-class professionals in India.Educationist Dr. Kuldip Charak and industry expert, mentor, startup ecosystem consultant, and entrepreneur Dr. Hemant Jadhav jointly established the CEO Academy. “CEO Academy is emerging as a modern and effective ecosystem for leadership transformation and industry-aligned executive education, rather than just being an academic institution,” they said.In today’s fast-changing global economy, earning a degree alone is no longer sufficient. There is a growing need to develop leaders with decision-making abilities, business leadership skills, strategic thinking, innovation, technological understanding, and execution capabilities. The founders stated that the CEO Academy has been created to address these evolving needs.To bridge the widening gap between traditional learning and practical industry leadership capabilities, the academy has developed a highly practical, experiential, and outcome-oriented learning methodology. The focus will be on providing not only theoretical knowledge but also hands-on industry experience, business decision-making skills, leadership readiness, and an entrepreneurial mindset.The founders of the academy, Dr. Kuldip Charak and Dr. Hemant Jadhav, outlined the institution’s mission during the inauguration. “The core mission of CEO Academy is to nurture future CEOs, startup founders, industry leaders, and world-class entrepreneurs by building the most effective ecosystem of industry-aligned, experiential, and transformational leadership education in India,” they said.Compared to traditional courses, the entire model of CEO Academy is based on the concept of “Industry-Ready Leadership Development.” Special emphasis will be placed on developing leadership qualities, execution skills, business acumen, financial understanding, team management abilities, and a global business outlook among students.The academy will launch regular leadership programmes from Monday to Friday for fresh graduates, students beginning their careers, and aspiring industry leaders. In addition, weekend special programmes will be available for working professionals, entrepreneurs, startup founders, and successors managing family businesses.Industry experts, entrepreneurs, academicians, and dignitaries from the startup ecosystem present at the inaugural ceremony praised the initiative of CEO Academy and opined that such institutions are essential today to make India more implementation-oriented, leadership-ready, and enterprise-driven.The programme was compered by Dr. Fatema Tinwala, while the vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Smita Jadhav, Director at CEO Academy.
