Maharashtra HSC supplementary exam 2026

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has started the registration process for the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) supplementary examination 2026, which will be held in June–July. Students who were unable to pass one or more subjects now have another chance to improve their scores without losing an academic year. Candidates can submit their application forms online through the official website.

Who can apply

The board has allowed the following candidates to register:

  • Students who failed in one or more subjects
  • Students who want to improve their marks
  • Private candidates
  • Candidates applying under Industrial Training Institute (ITI) and Transfer of Credit schemes

Important dates

As per the official schedule:

  • Regular application: May 5 to May 15, 2026
  • Late application: May 16 to May 20, 2026
  • Fee payment deadline (RTGS/NEFT): May 22, 2026

Students are advised to complete the process within the regular period to avoid paying a late fee.

Important instructions

Colleges and junior colleges will verify all submitted forms before final submission. Students must carefully check their printed application forms and sign them to confirm that all details are correct. Schools and colleges are responsible for transferring the examination fees through RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement) or NEFT (National Electronic Funds Transfer) to the board’s official account. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
