Reliance Industries Q4 results: Net profit falls 12.5%; Jio PAT rises 13%

RIl Q4 FY26 results: Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries reported a decline in its consolidated net profit for the fourth quarter of 2025–26, even as revenue registered year-on-year increase. The dip came amid the ongoing Middle East crisis, which has choked the firm’s primary oil and chemicals business, offsetting gains in consumer-facing telecom and retail units. The company posted a net profit of Rs 16,971 crore for the quarter, down 12.5% from Rs 19,407 crore over the corresponding period last year. On a sequential basis, profit declined 8% against Rs 18,645 crore recorded in the December quarter.Meanwhile, revenue from operations rose 13% year-on-year to Rs 2.98 lakh crore during the reporting period, driven by its key businesses including oil-to-chemicals (O2C), digital services and retail, all of which delivered double-digit revenue growth. At the operating level, the company reported a marginal decline in performance. EBITDA slipped 0.3% year-on-year to Rs 48,588 crore, while margins contracted by 200 basis points to 14.9% compared with the previous year period. Strong growth in digital services and a positive contribution from retail were offset by a decline in the energy segment.“Through FY26, we faced geopolitical disruptions, volatile energy prices and shifting global trade patterns. These headwinds weighed on businesses across the world. The breadth of our portfolio and strong domestic orientation helped navigate volatility in the external environment,” said Mukesh Ambani, chairman and managing director, as cited by ET.The company’s board has recommended a dividend of Rs 6 per share for the financial year ended March 2026.

Jio Q4 results

At the same time, Jio platform’s performance remained firm. For the March quarter, the entity’s profit after tax (PAT) rose 13% to Rs 7,935 crore, up from Rs 7,022 crore in the same quarter last year.During the period, revenue from operations came in at Rs 38,259 crore, registering a 12.5% increase compared to Rs 39,853 crore a year ago.The company’s average revenue per user (ARPU), for the business that includes Reliance Jio, climbed 3.8% to Rs 214 in the reported quarter, from Rs 206.2 in the corresponding period last year.
