The Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination has declared the TBJEE 2026 results today, May 22, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (TJEE) on April 23, 2026, will be able to check their scores and download rank cards through the official website, tbjee.tripura.gov.in.The state-level entrance examination is conducted for admission to undergraduate programmes in Engineering, Agriculture, Veterinary, Fisheries and other professional courses offered by institutes across the state. Students from both PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) streams had appeared for the examination.

Rank cards to carry subject-wise scores

Once the result link is activated, candidates will be able to access their rank cards containing subject-wise marks, overall scores and merit positions. The board is also expected to publish a detailed merit list prepared through a normalised scoring system.The declaration of results is expected to set the stage for the counselling process, which is likely to begin in June 2026. Qualified candidates will be eligible to participate in the counselling rounds for seat allotment across participating colleges in Tripura.

TBJEE result 2026: Important statistics

The TBJEE results recorded a total of 4,731 applications for TBJEE 2026, including 2,769 candidates from the General category, 1,133 from the ST category, and 829 from the SC category. In the PCM group, 1,864 candidates appeared for the examination, comprising 1,294 General category students, 220 ST candidates, and 350 SC candidates. Meanwhile, 3,873 candidates appeared in the PCB group, including 2,186 from the General category, 1,024 from the ST category, and 663 from the SC category. In the PCM stream, Arghajyoti Saha secured the first position with Roll Number 0188, followed by Animesh Sarkar (Roll Number 4156) and Akash Chaudhuri (Roll Number 2528). In the PCB stream, Baibhab Roy secured the top rank with Roll Number 1928, while Akash Chaudhuri obtained the second position and Arnab Mitra secured the third rank with Roll Number 1598.

TBJEE result 2026: Steps to download

Candidates can follow these steps to access their results:

  • Visit the official website at TBJEE Portal, tbjee.tripura.gov.in.
  • Click on the “Results of TBJEE 2026” link on the homepage
  • Enter the required login credentials, including registration number and password
  • The TBJEE 2026 rank card will appear on the screen
  • Download and take a printout for future counselling and admission processes

Tie-breaking rules explained

The board will follow a predefined tie-breaking mechanism in case two or more candidates secure identical scores. Preference will reportedly be given to candidates with higher combined marks in core subjects under the PCM or PCB groups. If the tie continues, age criteria may also be considered for ranking purposes.

Counselling process likely to begin in June

Following the result announcement, the counselling schedule and registration details are expected to be released separately by the board.
