TN SSLC Result 2026 Topper: The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, declared the TN SSLC Result 2026 today with the state recording an overall pass percentage of 94.31 per cent in the Class 10 public examinations. More than 8.70 lakh students appeared for the SSLC board examinations conducted between March 11 and April 6 across the state.Among the high-scoring students this year, Suganthi M from Ashok Nagar Girls Higher Secondary School emerged as the school topper after securing 496 marks out of 500 in the SSLC examinations. Suganthi M secured 496 out of 500 marks in the Class 10 board examinations conducted by the Directorate of Government Examinations. She emerged as the top-performing student of Ashok Nagar Girls Higher Secondary School following the declaration of results.The Tamil Nadu board has not released an official state topper list this year. However, schools across the state announced details of their top-performing students after the online publication of provisional scorecards.Tamil Nadu records improved SSLC performanceTamil Nadu registered a pass percentage of 94.31 per cent in the SSLC examinations this year, marking a slight increase from last year’s 93.80 per cent. A total of 8,70,643 students appeared for the examinations statewide.Girls continued to outperform boys in the board examinations. Female students recorded a pass percentage of 96.47 per cent, while boys secured 92.15 per cent in the results announced today.Thousands of schools achieve strong resultsThe Directorate of Government Examinations reported that 5,171 schools secured a 100 per cent pass percentage in the SSLC examinations this year. Out of these, 1,931 were government schools.Overall, 12,467 schools participated in the Class 10 public examinations. The board data further showed that 8,233 schools secured pass percentages above 95 per cent across Tamil Nadu.Students can access provisional marksheets onlineStudents can continue downloading their provisional scorecards through tnresults.nic.in, dge.tn.gov.in, DigiLocker and UMANG platforms. The online marksheets contain details including subject-wise marks, total score, qualifying status and candidate information.The Tamil Nadu board has clarified that the online scorecards are provisional in nature. Original marksheets and certificates will later be distributed through respective schools after completion of official procedures.
