The West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education has officially declared the High Madrasah, Alim and Fazil examination results 2026 at wbbme.org. The results were announced during a press conference held on May 8 at the board headquarters, where officials also released the topper lists and category-wise pass percentages.Candidates who appeared for the traditional and secondary-equivalent examinations conducted at centres across West Bengal can visit the official website to download scorecards. Board officials said this year witnessed a noticeable rise in the overall success rate, especially in the High Madrasah category. Students can now access their provisional marksheets online through the official portals of the board according to media reports. The board has advised students to carefully verify all details mentioned on the scorecard before proceeding with admissions and further academic formalities.

WBBME results 2026: Steps to download scorecards

Students who appeared for the High Madrasah, Alim and Fazil examinations can access their results online by following these steps:

  • Go to the official websites of the board at WBBME or WB Results, results.wbbme.org
  • Click on the link for High Madrasah, Alim or Fazil Examination Results 2026
  • Enter registration number and date of birth in the login window
  • Submit the details to view the result
  • Download the online marksheet and keep a printed copy for future use

Minimum passing marks fixed at 30%

The board has clarified that students must secure at least 30% marks in each subject to qualify for the examinations. Candidates failing to meet the minimum requirement in any subject will not be declared successful.Original marksheets and certificates will be distributed through affiliated institutions after the completion of the board’s documentation process.

Review and scrutiny window open for dissatisfied students

Students not satisfied with their scores will also get an opportunity to apply for Post Publication Scrutiny (PPS) or Post Publication Review (PPR). The application process will be conducted online within a specified timeline announced by the board.Officials said the review mechanism is aimed at ensuring transparency and giving students a fair opportunity to seek re-evaluation if they believe discrepancies exist in their marks.With the declaration of the results, the focus now shifts to admissions, higher studies and career planning for thousands of successful candidates across West Bengal.
